When your Logitech mouse is blinking green light, it will be due to a faulty battery insertion or when it is searching/pairing with your computer.

Your mouse can run into this problem due to a faulty or incompletely inserted battery. On the other hand if it is automatically pairing with your device. 

How to Fix Logitech Mouse Blinking Green Light 

1. Fix Battery Issues 

When your Logitech mouse is blinking green light, this can be caused by a faulty, low, or incompatible battery inserted into your mice. 

So, you should firstly take a look at the battery and ensure it is compatible with your mouse. On the other hand ensure it is correctly inserted all the way into the battery compartment. 

Over time your mouse batteries become unresponsive or dead and it can also lead your mouse to keep blinking green. 

If you have a rechargeable battery, plug it in for a few minutes and check if the problem is solved. 

If you are still facing the same problem, you should replace the battery with a new one. 

2. Update Mouse Driver

Sometimes this problem can be caused by faulty software on your mouse or computer. You can solve this problem by updating your Logitech mouse driver.

3. Reinstall Mouse Driver

So, you should verify that the mouse driver is compatible with your mouse or computer and isn’t causing problems. 

If it is the reason for this problem; you should consider reinstalling it and rolling back to the previous version. 

  1. Press Window + R > type devmgmt.msc > press enter. 
  2. Double click on mice and other pointing devices. 
  3. Right click on your Logitech mouse > select Uninstall. 
  4. Now, check the box from the pop up window “delete driver software for this device.”
  5. Click on Uninstall. 

After uninstalling the mouse driver, you should restart your mouse. When your PC is switched back on it will automatically search for the driver and install it. 

4. Download Unifying Software

If you are facing a problem with your Logitech keyboard + mouse combo. It will be due to the incompatible driver, and you’ll need to install Unifying software to connect and manage your both mouse and keyboard. 

So, you can download it from the official Logitech website and unzip the file. Then you can install and use it on your PC. 

On the other hand a Unifying receiver doesn’t come with your combo mouse + keyboard. It is a receiver that helps you to connect both devices with just one receiver. 

If the problem persists you should consider purchasing a new Unifying wireless receiver, and check if the problem is solved. 

5. Contact Support

The support team will be able to help you with this problem and provide you with a few other possible solutions.
